Wednesday marked the beginning of a huge part of the Rose Bowl renovation – the demolition of the existing press box. It will be replaced by a configuration five times larger to include new luxury suites and premium seating.
The new structure must be completed by September 8, when the UCLA Bruins host the Nebraska Cornhuskers. To make up the two to three weeks that the project is behind schedule, a night shift has been added to the construction schedule. The renovation is scheduled to be 100% complete before the 2014 Rose Bowl.
