Venue Technology Group: The ALSD's IT Division

The ALSD has hosted an Information Technology Division for the past five years at our annual conference. Now under new leadership, the ALSD will continue its IT Division - now re-named our Venue Technology Group (VTG) - for our conference and tradeshow in Minneapolis, Saturday, June 30-Tuesday, July 3, 2012. Assuming the role of Executive Director of the VTG is industry veteran Rick Temple. Because we are certain there will be some confusion, we are announcing this to past IT attendees, sponsors, and exhibitors.
The ALSD will announce a full program for next year's show in the coming months. We are proud to announce that as part of the program, we will tour Target Field, TCF Bank Stadium, and Xcel Energy Center.
Additionally, we intend to cover similar subject areas as in past years, but there will be changes and expansion to include collaboration in the industry on areas such as sales, service, marketing, F&B, and IT. IT truly has its hand in all aspects of the industry and we need technology as part of the ALSD. We certainly hope you will consider attending this year.
The receptions, tours and format of past ALSD shows will continue. We look forward to your continued participation.
