The new home of the College World Series produced a $5.6 million net operating profit for the 2010-2011 fiscal year.   Article Synopsis:   According to a new report, TD Ameritrade Park, located in downtown Omaha, generated a net operating profit of $5.6 million in its first official fiscal year. The report was written by the Metropolitan Entertainment and Convention Authority (MECA) which runs the ballpark.

Atlanta Braves to add new club seats at Turner Field

The new premium option will replace three existing suites and 350 seats.   Article Synopsis:   The Atlanta Braves are adding a new club level to Turner Field in time for the 2012 season. The new premium space, sponsored by Georgia’s Own Credit Union, will replace three suites and 350 seats behind home plate on the press box level. Seats will be sold as part of 3- and 5-year plans and will include valet parking, upscale food options and in-seat F&B service.
