Conference FAQ

CONFERENCE LOCATION

• All education, trade show, and bus departures take place at the JW Marriott L.A. LIVE, 900 West Olympic Boulevard, Los Angeles, California, USA, 90015.
• The hotel has an Atrium Side and a Conference Center.
• Registration and credential pick up is on Floor 2 of the Conference Center in the Platinum Ballroom Foyer.
• Most education and trade show are in the Conference Center as well.
• The New Attendee Meeting and various small group meetings will take place on the Atrium Side. 

PROGRAM PREVIEW

• Online:  2024 Preliminary Schedule
• Only League Meetings on Monday, July 15 are closed. Concurrently, there are 10 other sessions for F&B, partnerships, venue operators, designers, and innovators.
• Finally, our host venues are notorious for surprises at every turn (hello Pace Car rides at the Indy Motor Speedway last year), so don’t miss a minute of the program.

You are in for a treat with a true venue fest this year! Everyone is invited to the venue tours and receptions, which offer hands-on education and networking:

• Sunday, July 14: Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum & BMO Stadium
• Monday, July 15: SoFi Stadium, followed by Cosm
• Tuesday, July 16: Crypto.com Arena & Peacock Theater

Each evenings’ venue tours above are within walking distance of one another. While buses are available, please wear your walking shoes, and alert us if you would like driving or accessibility accommodations between venues.  Buses will transport guests from the JW Marriott to the venues initially on Sunday and Monday.  Tuesday’s venues are next to the host hotel, so we will be walking there and back. 

IMPORTANT TOUR INFO

• All attendees must wear their ALSD-issued credential, which is picked up at registration. If you are going to arrive late and miss registration, let us know and we can bring yours with us.
• Buses transport guests from the JW Marriott on Sunday and Monday.
• Pick up an “If Driving” card at registration if you will be driving or ride sharing.
• To prepare for Monday’s SoFi Stadium event: 
• All guests must enter through metal detectors and are subject to bag check for access to SoFi Stadium. Purses and small bags permitted. Clear bags are not required.
• WIFI: #HollywoodPark (No Password Required)

To prepare for Tuesday’s Crypto.com Arena & Peacock Theater events: 

• Arena Bag Policy: Small clutches and wallets smaller than 5” x 9” x 1” are permitted and are subject to security inspection. 
• Medical and parental bags smaller than 14” x 14” x 6” are required to go through an X-Ray machine security screening.
• Court Access: Guests must wear rubber soled shoes in order to walk onto the court. No exceptions.

HOTEL ROOMS
If you haven’t booked your room yet, there are overflow rooms now available at properties nearby. 

LUGGAGE STORAGE
We will always make arrangements, but if at all possible, the hotel is the best place for your bags.

FOOD & DRINK
Food and drink will be featured at the sports venues as part of our off-site hospitality receptions. Additionally, there will be trade show cocktail receptions on Sunday and Monday nights, Monday and Tuesday trade show lunch and learns, and morning coffee breaks.

PARKING
The JW Marriott L.A. LIVE offers valet parking. You can find out more and read up on additional hotel amenities here.

WEATHER
It's expected to be in the low 80's with minimal chance of rain in LA!  Don't forget your sunscreen and shades.

DRESS CODE
Business or smart casual. Meeting rooms can be chilly, so layer up. Comfortable walking shoes are highly recommended for venue tours (Sunday tours are outdoors; Monday and Tuesday tours are indoors).

NEW THIS YEAR
The trade show and the main stage for keynotes and general sessions will be in the same room.

• Trade show setup will take place Sunday, July 14 from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.; leave enough time for the Opening Welcome and Keynote Conversation, starting at 3:00 p.m.
