The $600 million renovation campaign at University of Alabama, named the Crimson Standard, will take place in multiple phases over the course of 10 years. Phase one will focus on student-athlete and recruiting areas, as well as premium seating at the football stadium. The goals are to improve recruitment and create a premium experience for fans at the stadium. The Mal M. Moore Athletic Facilities will also undergo renovations during this time. The cost for the first phase is estimated to be $78 million. Phase two will focus on Coleman Coliseum, where they house basketball and gymnastics. This will be an estimated $115 million, and will modernize and transform the facility. Phase 3 will include renovations to Bryant-Denny Stadium at an estimated cost of $210 million. These renovations will decrease seating capacity in the facilities, but will increase intimacy and game-day experiences for fans. All of this is contingent on approval from the Board of Trustees.
