In a return to normalcy, the Five Diamond, Five Star award winning ARIA Resort & Casino hosted three full days of education, comradery, and recovery for the sports and entertainment venue marketplace.
The 2021 lineup again included the 8th Annual Sports Venue Design & Build Forum and the 7th Annual Sports Sales & Service Training Forum, as well as the venue tours and receptions the ALSD Conference is known for. ALSD 2021 attendees visited Allegiant Stadium, home of the Las Vegas Raiders, one day after the Raiders’ first game with fans in the seats. Delegates also delighted in an evening at T-Mobile Arena, one of the world’s top-grossing arenas and home ice for the Vegas Golden Knights.
The educational program teemed with thought leaders and industry experts from across all layers of the venue marketplace, including sales, service, food and beverage, technology, and design. Keynotes from Kosha Irby, Chief Marketing Officer at Professional Bull Riders, and Amy Latimer, President of TD Garden and Chief Growth Officer of Delaware North, inspired the masses to bring positive changes back to our teams and venues. Latimer was also recognized as this year’s ALSD Visionary Award recipient.
The adverse sands of the past two years melted away briefly in the Nevada desert. ALSD 2021 was a special time to reconnect with friends and reestablish our standards of professionalism and performance. Welcome back, ALSD.
