Big Blue adds to the sports venue audiovisual conversation

IBM goes beyond the PC to revamp the sports industry’s perspective on venue design, most recently at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, home of the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United, as well as host venue at the 2018 ALSD Conference and Tradeshow. Through the creation of “customer personas” and “journey maps”, IBM created an exclusive experience for Mercedes-Benz Stadium patrons by demonstrating the value of listening to the fans and what they consider important.

The audiovisual elements of Mercedes-Benz Stadium showcase over 2,000 displays, several hundred cameras, over 3,000 speakers, 90 miles of audio cables, and of course, the venue’s 360-degree halo display.
