Bob Gorman joined the United Center team in 1997 and currently serves as Senior Director of Technical Operations at the United Center.
Prior to officially being hired by the United Center, Gorman served as a consultant to the arena for three years providing general technology consulting, development and systems administration. Since 1997, Gorman has advanced his career from Manager of Information Systems (1997-2007) and Director of Information Systems (2007-2017) to his current role as Senior Director of Technical Operations. In this role, Gorman oversees a department of 36 multi-discipline full and part-time employees. From managing traditional enterprise information technology for the Chicago Blackhawks, Chicago Bulls and United Center front offices and coaching operations staff, leading live event technical productions and audio-visual systems to the implementation of an event-based infrastructure used throughout the United Center Campus. The department manages a wide range of responsibilities to ensure streamlined day-to-day and event day operations as well as fostering growth to achieve long-term company goals.
