Kevin Ivey leads development of Sports & Entertainment projects for Baker Audio Visual in Atlanta.   In this role, Ivey works with architects, consultants and owners to apply Baker AV's experience in stadium and arena systems integration to realize each team's vision for their unique fan experience.  Prior to joining Baker AV, Ivey was General Manager of Peavey Commercial Audio, where he expanded software development of the MediaMatrix product set to include control and wireless device integration, and to reach EN54 life safety qualification.  Ivey came to the audio visual market following 20 years in the broadcasting industry, where he founded CNN's R&D team and led the engineering and rollout of the world's first non-linear, server based newsrooms.  While at the BBC, Ivey led integration of media asset management systems for ESPN's first Digital Production Center.  His awards include an Emmy for CNN's pioneering of the first large-scale media asset management systems, and two Smithsonian Computerworld Laureate distinctions for CNN's development of data systems to identify, ingest and index hundreds of hours of daily video feeds.  Ivey is a 1984 graduate of Mississippi State University.
