Milwaukee begins deconstructing Bradley Center

The demolition of the Bradley Center, the former home of the Milwaukee Bucks, is underway. And through a partnership with Habitat for Humanity, several areas of the deconstructed arena will be available for resale.

From luxury suites to team locker rooms, Habitat for Humanity will remove and price features to be made available for resale at three Milwaukee County Habitat ReStore locations. Jake Weiler, deconstruction services manager for Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity, estimates that the items donated by the Bucks will produce at least $50,000 for the charity.

Along with other donations to several area organizations, including Milwaukee Public Schools, the Bucks estimate that the salvaged material will raise over $1 million.
