Tampa Bay Lightning launch customer service AI chat bot

The Tampa Bay Lightning have launched a customer service artificial intelligence chat bot, dubbed “ThunderBot”, that answers frequently asked fan questions about ticketing, parking, concessions, and other amenities at Amalie Arena.

Designed by Satisfi Labs, Thunderbot functions across TampaBayLightning.com, the Lightning text club at 61873, and the NHL and Amalie Arena apps, and will soon be available on the Lightning's Facebook Messenger page.

Also coming soon is the functionality for Lightning fans to cat with a human customer service rep in real-time if they are not receiving the answers they want from the bot.

As an AI/machine learning tool, Thunderbot will better answer questions and more accurately answer a wider variety of questions over time as it learns more about the behaviors of Lightning fans.
