Tottenham Hotspur’s new grounds under construction in north London continue to grab headlines. Let’s go inside the $1 billion, 61,000-seat stadium (the largest in London), scheduled to open in 2018.
Renderings depict many best-in-class premium amenities, such as a glass-walled space with views of the players tunnel, a 285-foot-long bar, and heated seats with charging outlets.
Additional features include a microbrewery, in-house bakery, new beer delivery system serving 10,000 pints per minute, and a five-story glass atrium at the south end to provide supporters with gathering space and expanded F&B offerings.
With museum and stadium tours, conference and banquet facilities, cafes, and a hotel, the Tottenham grounds are expected to drive revenue 365 days a year and bring in a variety of events outside English Premier League matches, including NFL games and concerts.
