  • Monday, October 26: 12:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. ET: League Day Meetings
    • Please note: League Day Meetings are for teams and venues only. 
    • Tuesday, October 27 begins in the virtual conference programming for all attendees.
  • Tuesday, October 27: 11:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. ET, also includes Premium Buyers Group sessions.

Yes. Similar to previous years, a registration to the ALSD Conference is inclusive of a League Day Pass. This year, we have league meetings for NBA, NHL, MLB, NFL, MLS, and College teams and venues. Racing, entertainment, and minor league venues should begin their conference attendance on October 27. 

Registered attendees, exhibitors, and sponsors will receive their login details for the October 27-29 conference dates on October 26, so it can hit the top of your inbox at just the right time. Daily emails on October 27-29 will also include reminder login materials. Remember, your email links you to the platform for individual use, and only those formally registered will receive login credentials. 

Exhibitors will receive a supplemental login for the Zoom video chat function for your booths. 

For teams attending League Day Meetings on October 26, separate login details and agendas for League Day will be sent by October 24. League Day Meetings take place on a stand-alone Zoom platform.

Definitely mark your own calendars now for the dates and times above, as ALSD does not send alerts. Once again, League Day is one login, the October 27-29 platform is a different one. 

Once you’re on the virtual platform, you choose what you attend. The Grid (link) will help you plan which events and sessions are can’t-miss for you. Plan accordingly.

The auditorium will showcase where you can find keynote interviews, general sessions, and breakouts. A full agenda with countdown clock to sessions will help you navigate each day’s education.

Just about everything. All attendees can access keynotes, sessions, tradeshow, and networking lounges. League Day Meetings on October 26 are open only to teams and venues.

Similar to previous years, a list of attendees and speakers by name, title, and organization will be available for download the first day of the virtual conference. Watch for daily emails with this information included. 

Yep. It’s important in a virtual setting to remind you what’s ahead each day. Be sure to check your email daily, and just in case you don’t see it, pop into your Spam. We hope it’s not there, but you never know. 

Virtually awesome. There are multiple ways to network this year. On the platform are three networking lounges, organized by track, including premium seating, F&B, and design and operations. Each lounge is intended to spark conversations about those respective topics via text and zoom chats. You may enter any or all lounges at any time and feel free to open a new tab for each lounge while having the auditorium or exhibit hall open in another. Booths also offer a unique experience to network and learn more about products and services through group chats and video chatting. Additionally, you can network with speakers and attendees by chatting during panels. Finally, you are able to direct message other attendees who are also on the platform.

  • Monday, October 26: League Day for teams and venues from 12:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. (must pre-register).
  • Tuesday, October 27: ALSD Conference, Design & Build Forum, Premium Buyers Group tracks present a comprehensive day of education. A keynote interview with Meg Whitman kicks off the day and is followed by the annual State of the Industry by Rob Hunden. The exhibit hall is open all day, and attendees can also make their way to the networking lounges. Bonus speaker materials precede several sessions. 
  • Wednesday, October 28: This day is jam-packed, kicking off with two keynote interviews of Stephen M.R. Covey and Stedman Graham. The Visionary Award presentation follows, and we hear some surprises are in store for that celebration. ALSD Conference, Design & Build Forum sessions get into niche topics, with solutions sessions showcasing innovation. The exhibit hall is open all day, and attendees continue networking in the virtual lounges. Spotlight awards precede several sessions to celebrate the best-in-breed projects of 2020. 
  • Thursday, October 29: The day begins with a soulful interview with actor Glenn Morshower, followed by an NFL Presidents Conversation with Jason Wright interviewed by Al Guido. The breakout sessions continue to build momentum, packing more ALSD and Design & Build Forum breakouts, solutions sessions, and more Spotlight announcements. 

Teams, leagues, and personnel from sports/entertainment venues are free to attend all events and sessions, including League Meetings, Virtual Venue Tours, General Sessions, Networking Lounges, the Exhibit Hall, and the Design & Build Forum.

Exhibitors, Suppliers, and Sponsor Partners are also free to attend all events and sessions except Monday’s League Meetings. Your program begins on Tuesday, October 27.

You better believe it. ALSD was planning to tour three incredible venues in 2020. A virtual show isn’t stopping us. In the ALSD Venue Tour booth, virtual venues tours take you through these three venues:  

  • The brand-new Globe Life Field, home to the Texas Rangers
  • The brand-new Dickies Arena, multi-use venue and home to the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo
  • TCU’s Amon G. Carter Stadium renovation, home to the Horned Frogs football program

We recommend starting in the exhibit hall, where you can get to know our exhibitors and sponsors. Each booth is set up for materials download to a virtual briefcase, 1:1 Zoom chats, and group chats. 

It’s relatively fool-proof and listed in several virtual rooms. The bottom of your screen will show the agenda navigation. Click here or Agenda here will direct you. 

Current and upcoming keynote interviews, general sessions, and breakout sessions appear in chronological order and more navigation buttons will direct you to Click Here for entry into sessions. 

First, make sure that your computer audio is on, your speakers are connected, or your headphones are plugged in.

  • If you’re having issues hearing the presentation, make sure to hit the play button on the left video box. Then try adjusting your audio by clicking the speaker icon.
  • If you’re having issues hearing videos in the exhibit hall, try adjusting the speaker icon in the video play bar. Keep in mind that not all videos will have audio.
  • If you’re still having issues hearing, try logging out and logging back in, or simply refreshing your browser.

Try refreshing your browser and trying again. If you still cannot click anything after refreshing, please try adjusting the size of your browser.

The exhibit hall is open at all times during the virtual conference. There are educational sessions peppering all days, and built-in breaks for exhibit hall attendance and networking.

View the full schedule for booth staffing purposes at anytime and also the below explanation of open exhibit hall times. The tradeshow will be open at all times, and sessions will run on eastern times noted, with breaks between most for networking and tradeshow.

We suggest exhibitors man their booths at all times, and remain available for group or 1:1 networking. However, we understand there are times and circumstances that may preclude this. The materials you submitted are loaded and attendees can view and download those to their virtual briefcases no matter if you are present.  

We also recommended that you open and leave open the Zoom chat queue. One person can monitor that, while other booth staffers monitor booth attendance or even visit other booths. In the event you’re the sole booth staffer, you can toggle between 1:1 chats and group text chats in your booth.  You can also see who visited your booth when you return, if you happen to step away. 

In the supplemental booth login for Zoom meetings, instructions will be included. 

To download the contents of your briefcase, click the checkbox to the left of each item. A Download Selected button will display at the bottom right of your briefcase. Click that button to download the selected items. Keep in mind that you cannot download videos.

The event’s scheduled sessions, group networking, and 1:1 booth networking are taking place through the Zoom platform, so when you click to join one of these, Zoom will automatically open on your computer or you will be prompted to join/register on the platform if you do not already have an account. It takes just a minute.

You may be zoomed in farther than is optimal. Go to the upper right-hand corner in your browser and click to zoom in and zoom out as needed. Between 80% and 90% percent typically works best, though it can vary depending on if you are using a laptop, a tablet or a desktop.
