Amalie Arena

The Tampa Bay Lightning, Vinik Sports Group, AMALIE Arena and Delaware North, the team’s official food and beverage provider, will be bringing a more fan-friendly concept to their concessions for the upcoming (2019/20) season, introducing new design kitchen concepts throughout the building.

Beginning at the start of the Lightning preseason, fans will see the newly designed concession stands which offer new grab-and-go features. These newly designed concession stands will give fans and guests the chance to get their favorite foods faster and be able to see their food before they purchase it while bringing to life a focus to deliver all guests the very best in fresh, local food and beverage options while concentrating on variety, value, service, and sustainability. The creation of the design kitchens will also feature grab and go type items within the queue lines.

The design features an open-kitchen feel with the majority of equipment stationed below counter height in order to enhance the engagement Lightning fans and guests have with the exterior windows.  Each location will have multiple digital menu boards to assist with branding and menu recognition while also utilizing technology and IPTV platforms to help guests with their ordering process.

Vinik Sports Group utilized its partners at Generator Studio, AECOM, SSR, Walter P. Moore, and Foodservice Resources to create these concepts while leaning on Moss Construction as the builder.
