Bobbi Busboom joined Illinois Athletics Development in March of 2008. She was responsible for the development of the Illinois Premium Seating program upon the conclusion of the renovation of Memorial Stadium (Fall 2008) and of State Farm Center (Fall 2016). Prior to joining the development staff, Busboom served as the Associate Recruiting Coordinator for Football - hosting prospective student-athletes on campus, coordinating visits and mailings, managing the prospect management system, and providing recruiting support for all coaches.
A native of nearby Royal, Ill., and graduate of St. Joseph-Ogden High School, Busboom earned her bachelor’s degree in leisure studies with an emphasis in sports management and completed her master's degree in sports management from the University of Illinois in May 2009. Busboom also completed her MBA at the University of Illinois in 2018.
Busboom’s broad range of responsibilities includes oversight of scheduling, travel, and special projects for the Office of Athletic Development, assistance with principal gift stewardship and cultivation, and special events with the department. She also serves as a liaison to the business office, human resources, and other departments in the campus community.
