Calgary Stampede

People have conquered Mount Everest at an elevation of 8,848 meters or K2 at an elevation of 8,611 meters.

The challenge at Stampede 2019 was to conquer CS2, a mountain of a burger and a meat-lover’s dream. Guests were invited to share it with others or ascend it on their own at a $150 (Cdn) price tag.

Basecamp: 4 x 6 oz. Brant Lake Wagyu artisan beef burgers

Peak 1: 3 oz. Country Lane Farms pulled chicken, Quebec oka cheese

Peak 2: 3 oz. Bear + the Flower Farm pulled pork, Noble Meadows Farm goat cheese

Peak 3: 3 oz. TB4R smoked beef brisket, Gruger Family Fungi mushrooms, Canadian brie

Peak 4: Butcher’s cut bacon, fried egg, Village Cheese Company aged white cheddar

Along with crispy onions, Red Hat tomatoes + hydroponic grown butter leaf lettuce. All this is held in a custom cheese + caramelized onion mega-loaf. Oh wait, we can’t forget the heaping mound of kettle chips.

The custom-designed and forged iron cowboy climber was the guest’s to keep after the feat.
