The 2018 football season brought the realization of Auburn University’s Fearless and True Project – A Facilities Campaign for Auburn Athletics, set at $61.7 million. The majority of that funding will go to the new $31.4 million football facility at the southwest corner of Jordan-Hare Stadium. Improvements include a new locker room, recruiting area, press box, and club seating area. The 44,000-square-foot facility is currently under construction and should be completed next year. A $12 million renovation and conversion of the current press box at Jordan-Hare Stadium is not part of the new fundraising campaign.
With this massive fundraising, new design, and build out, Proof of the Pudding created brand-new experiences for fans to enjoy – the Tiger Walk Club, Broadway Club, and the Harbert Family Recruiting Center.
The Tiger Walk Club welcomes upwards of 500 people over two floors with floor-to-ceiling windows, where fans can watch the legendary Tiger Walk when the football team marches into their brand-new locker room and out of the tunnel to enter the field. Food and beverage options include live-cooking, hibachi-style chef stations, farm tables, and innovative buffets of fresh, local, and seasonal menus, as well as full bar service with liquor, wine, and local craft beers.
The Broadway Club is the epitome of luxury at Jordan-Hare Stadium. This private club seats 125 people and is on the third deck of the east side, straddling the 50 yard line. With a climate-controlled interior adorned with tile, marble, and glass, it boasts a beautiful full-service bar with custom-edged glassware. Guests also enjoy leather trays to hold their custom china plates. A dedicated kitchen, dedicated private chef, and a dining room manager to oversee the service all help deliver menus using ultra-local ingredients grown on campus by students.
The Harbert Family Recruiting Center is located along the Tiger Walk route and includes the new locker rooms and gathering spaces. F&B stations inside the actual tunnel leading to the field provide clear views of the field. This space is adorned in glass and tile, as well as amazing audiovisual possibilities with built-in screens, monitors, and speaker systems.
