Kenan Memorial Stadium

This Kenan Memorial Stadium project at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill encloses the east end zone, creates a series of premium seating options, and increases the overall capacity from 60,000 to 63,000.

The heart of the facility’s “The Blue Zone” was the design team’s primary focus. This area consists of three levels of premium spaces, each with its own visual identity and unique finish palettes and styles. The new revenue-generating space greatly enhances the gameday experience and provides significant financial support for additional facility upgrades, as well as for 27 other varsity sports.

The suite level incorporates 20 suites, each featuring 16 seats. These intimate venues give patrons beautiful, private settings with high-end amenities for a unique social environment to enjoy the event.

The upper club level features 812 outdoor club seats, as well as 112 loge seats. The open floor plan, upscale beverage stations, variety of lounge areas, and array of televisions create a highly flexible venue that allows each patron a view of the action from anywhere within the club.

The Concourse Club offers 1,800 seats and an additional 112 loge seats, which are located just a few feet from the end zone. This club is an incredible 10,000-square-foot, two-story open space with large iconic beverage stations anchoring the base of each end. Two additional dining locations were created to add yet another layer of amenities to give the fans the ultimate gameday experience.
