Petco Park – Blue Shield Home Plate Club

The Padres are committed to never let Petco Park look more than five years old. With frequent renovations to keep the ballpark looking and operating like new, the facility is one of the driving forces behind the Padres’ season ticket member base and overall revenue growth. As part of the Padres’ continuous investment in Petco Park, the Blue Shield Home Plate Club underwent a complete renovation immediately following the conclusion of the 2022 postseason. The renovated club includes an enhanced VIP entry that honors Padres’ greats and Hall of Famers, exclusive VIP retail space, expanded upper bar and dining room with a new layout, furniture, art and expanded restrooms while maintaining a unique view into the Padres batting cages. A new grand staircase directly connects the upper club to an expanded and renovated lower club. The new lower club features an expanded interior footprint, a dedicated private bar, expanded restrooms and an enhanced fine dining experience with staircases that connect to seats directly behind Home Plate. The enhanced dining experience features chef’s prepared plated meals on rotating basis and a new bar menu that brings local ballpark favorites to the club. The lower club features chef’s table entree selections and desserts, grab-and-go ballpark fare, and a rare liquor display option for purchase.
